Shenzhen, April 19, 2026 — OnePlus has officially launched the Nord 6, a new model that, according to details published by Gizmochina and BizzBuzz, comes with a 1.5K AMOLED display at 165 Hz, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and a 9,000 mAh battery.

The device debuted on April 7 in Asian markets and is expected to reach European stores within the month. The final price for the European Union has not been officially confirmed by OnePlus.

Premium positioning at an accessible price

According to Gizmochina, the Nord 6 targets the upper-mid segment, where it competes with phones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 SE and the Samsung Galaxy A57. The 9,000 mAh battery, built on silicon-carbon technology, is among the largest in its class, while the 165 Hz refresh rate appeals to mobile gamers.

“The OnePlus Nord 6 is the most serious mid-range contender of the year,” Gizmochina argued in its March 30, 2026 article that ranked the top five launches of April.

For the Albanian-speaking market, OnePlus remains a relevant brand among power users and gamers, even though its official after-sales network is thinner than Samsung’s or Xiaomi’s. Retailers in Prishtina expect the Nord 6 to arrive in limited stock initially, via imports from Germany and Italy.

Analysts at Croma and Cashify say OnePlus is again positioning itself as a “flagship-killer alternative”, aiming to capture buyers disappointed by price hikes on top-tier Apple and Samsung phones.
