In cities like Prishtina, where apartments often have balconies with direct sun exposure, combining outdoor shutters with indoor panels also has a thermal effect, lowering summer cooling costs.
Specialists remind homeowners that there is no need to remove all curtains at once: often, replacing them in just one or two main rooms is enough to give a home a modern feel.
