Dua Lipa expected to marry in Palermo in September 2026, Italian press reports
According to the daily “Giornale di Sicilia”, the singer of Kosovo origin and her fiance Callum Turner have chosen Palermo for their wedding ceremony.

PRISTINA, April 24, 2026 — Pop star of Kosovo origin Dua Lipa is expected to marry British actor Callum Turner in Palermo, Italy over the weekend of September 5–7, 2026, according to Italian press reports that have circulated widely in Albanian-language media.
The news was first reported by the daily “Giornale di Sicilia”, citing sources close to the event organizer. According to the newspaper, preparations are underway for a ceremony that local sources have described as the “wedding of the year”, with anticipated guests from the international music and film scene. The report was relayed by the Kosovo portal Bota Sot.
A couple in the spotlight for a year
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner became engaged in June 2025, a fact the singer publicly confirmed in an interview with British Vogue, where she said the period was “very emotional”. The couple has appeared at several public events since, but has kept wedding details under wraps.
According to “Giornale di Sicilia”, the Palermo arrangement will involve heightened security and private-jet arrivals at Falcone–Borsellino airport. Some guests are expected to be accommodated in luxury Sicilian hotels, while local authorities have indicated they are coordinating with organizers on traffic management.
Quotes carried by the Italian paper note that the planner has been working for months with the singer’s personal team to preserve the minimalist style she has emphasized in recent interviews, with music expected to be “the central element of the event”, the same source said, as relayed by Bota Sot.
Strong ties to Kosovo
Dua Lipa, whose parents are originally from Pristina, has become a symbol of national pride in Kosovo. The Sunny Hill Festival, co-founded by her father Dukagjin Lipa, remains Pristina’s largest cultural event and is set to return next summer.
“Yes, we are engaged. It is very emotional,” Dua Lipa was quoted as saying in an earlier interview, as relayed by Bota Sot citing British Vogue.
The singer’s representatives have not publicly addressed the date or venue. No official confirmation has come from Callum Turner’s team either. Meanwhile, Albanian-speaking fans have flooded social media with congratulations and speculation about whether any Albanian elements will feature in the ceremony.
